Volkswagen trains people to review

Volkswagen-Tiguan-The-Peoples-reviewer-social-media-campaign Volkswagen’s latest campaign called The People’s Reviewer uses real people to write reviews on the new VW Tiguan, and then trained them on how to spread the message on various social tools.

Campaigns involving bloggers or other people typically not associated with the brand have often been met with quite a lot of resistance for their lack of authenticity (think of the Paid-to-Post model). The way that VW has styled their campaign and the way that they’ve engaged with their brand ambassadors is the message.
